Program Outcomes (PO's)



Office Management Principles: Graduates will demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of modern office management principles, practices, theories, and methodologies, encompassing organizational structure, workflow optimization, administrative processes, and resource management.

Secretarial and Administrative Skills: Graduates will exhibit proficiency in performing secretarial tasks, administrative duties, office procedures, documentation, correspondence, scheduling, time management, and multitasking while adhering to industry standards, protocols, and best practices.

Technology and Digital Proficiency: Graduates will possess competence in utilizing modern office technologies, software applications, digital tools, communication platforms, information systems, and automation solutions to enhance efficiency, productivity, collaboration, communication, and decision-making in office environments.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Graduates will effectively communicate, interact, collaborate, and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, clients, teams, professionals, and organizations, demonstrating proficiency in verbal, written, digital, and non-verbal communication techniques, strategies, and mediums.

They ensure that graduates are well-prepared, competent, versatile, adaptable, and ethical professionals capable of navigating, leading, innovating, and succeeding in diverse office management, administrative, secretarial, and organizational roles, environments, and contexts.

Entry Qualification : 10th or equivalent as perscribed by the Uttaranchal Board of Technical Education, Roorkee

Ratio between theory and Parctical classes : 50:50
Ecology and Environment : As per directives of Government of India, an awareness camp on Ecology and Environment has been incorporated during second semester.
Entrepreneurship Development : An Entrepreneurial Awareness Camp and a full subject on Entrepreneurship Development and Management has been incorporated in the Study Scheme.
Generic Skill Development : It is proposed that two Camps of 3-4 days duration on generic Skills Development(GSD) during 5th and 6th Semester be organized by arranging expert lectures/ discussion sessions either by Polttechnic teacher ot by eminent educationists from the neighborhood to deal eith topics like: Independent Study Techniques, Task Management, Ethics and Values, Personality Development, SWOT Analyisis, Action reserch etc.
Industrial Exposure : The Student will be exposed to industial by orgnanizing industrial visits and expert lectures by personnel from industry. The suggested industry oriented-practice based minor and major projects will enable the students to interact with relecant industries.
Discipline : 20 marks per semester have been kept for maintaining discipline which include punctuality, attendance behaviour etc.
